It’s a terrible rainy day…
YEAH!
I have gifts to make..My sister, Judy has a birthday this month and it just so happens her daughter is visiting us from Massachusetts this week, so I am sending her home with her Mom’s gift.
This tablerunner is a class I teach. The three blocks are machine quilted in the hoop. The 4 corner blocks are striped pieced first then quilted in the hoop. I add the sashings then the border. Last I add the backing.. check this fun print out…
After the backing I stipple-quilted the sashing and loopdy-doopdy quilted the borders. For some color I did a decorative stitch with a variegated thread around the edges. Now don’t tell… shhhhh
I also had to make a baby pillow for a gift
Pretty linen pillow with back and fronts embroidered.
Now I have to get some housework finished..aghhhh
promise not to tell…love the backing on Judy’s runner!
me too!
That table runner is spectacular!
I love the Pillow idea!!!
No idea how to embroider and not even sure if I could set up a sewing machine by myself BUT!
I’m seriously thinking about figuring those out so I can make one of those for a dearly loved brother in the Lord for his birthday. (Slightly altered of course to be less feminine, but keeping the scripture for sure) Thanks for the idea!

I’m seriously thinking about figuring out how to sew & embroider so that I might make a message pillow like yours for a dearly loved brother in the Lord. Slightly altered of course to be less feminine, but keeping the scripture for sure. Thanks for the idea! One question: If I could get a decent looking pillow sewed do you think I could embroider nicely enough with Zero experience in a weeks time?
